Are you creative, caring, and full of energy? Do you have experience with planning and leading resident events?

We’re looking for an Activities Director who loves bringing people together and making each day meaningful for our independent living residents.

In this role, you’ll create, plan and lead fun, engaging activities — from fitness classes and art projects to outings, learning opportunities, and community events. You’ll help residents stay active, connected, and inspired while building lasting relationships with them, their families, and our team.

We’re looking for someone who’s organized, friendly, and passionate about making a difference. If you enjoy planning events, sharing ideas, and helping others live life to the fullest, you’ll fit right in!

Key responsibilities:

  • Create, plan and lead a variety of enjoyable, resident-centered activities.
  • Create monthly activity calendar with resident-centered activities.
  • Partner with residents, families, staff, and community groups to offer diverse and meaningful experiences.
  • Help promote our programs through social media and photos.
  • Coordinate transportation (including but not limited to driving large company van) and support volunteers.
  • Be flexible — some evenings and weekends are part of the fun!
  • Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in resident activities, recreation, or a similar residential care facility setting (or equivalent education/experience).
  • Activity Director workshop (36 hours per Oregon rules) completed within 90 days of hire.
  • Certification in Therapeutic Recreation or related field preferred.
  • Energetic, positive, and passionate about serving older adults.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid Oregon driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Able to pass a DHS background check and fingerprinting, if required.
  • Food Handler and CPR certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Wages: $20.00 - $25.00/hr (Depending on Experience)

Shift/Position: Full time/Days (with flexibility to occasionally work evening/weekends/Holidays)
