Job Description:
ABODE School is seeking for an Admin cum Admission Counsellor is responsible for managing the school’s front office operations, handling administrative tasks, and coordinating the admissions process. The role involves interacting with parents, students, and visitors, maintaining student records, and supporting the school’s administrative and academic departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:1. Admissions & Counselling
- Handle all admission inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Counsel prospective parents about the school’s curriculum, facilities, and admission procedures.
- Schedule and coordinate school tours, student interactions, and admission assessments.
- Maintain an updated database of inquiries, leads, and admissions in the school management system.
- Follow up with potential parents to convert inquiries into admissions.
- Assist in organizing admission events, orientations, and open houses.
2. Administrative Support
- Manage front office operations, including visitor handling, phone calls, and correspondence.
- Maintain student and staff records, attendance registers, and documentation.
- Coordinate with various departments for smooth communication and task execution.
- Prepare reports, letters, circulars, and other official communication as required.
- Support the HR and Accounts teams with document collection and basic coordination tasks.
3. Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the first point of contact for parents and visitors, ensuring professional communication.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and schedules for the management team.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to students, staff, and school operations.
4. Office Management
- Ensure availability of office supplies and manage inventory of administrative materials.
- Supervise housekeeping and front-office maintenance.
- Assist in event planning and logistics for school functions and celebrations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably in Administration, Education, or Management).
- 2–5 years of experience in school administration or counselling roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and school ERP systems.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
- Customer service-oriented and capable of handling pressure in a fast-paced environment.
