Administrative Assistant and Marketing Intern (V-Top eligible)

Are you a motivated VA student or recent graduate from a Virginia School looking to gain real-world experience in business management, marketing, and entrepreneurship? Join Glamour Beauty & Brows and Glam Room Salon Suites, two fast-growing beauty brands led by an award-winning entrepreneur. This internship is ideal for students enrolled in Career & Technical Education (CTE), business, cosmetology, or entrepreneurship programs who qualify under the Virginia Talent + Opportunity Partnership (V-TOP). You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting operations, marketing, and customer relations in both beauty and education environments. Responsibilities Assist with administrative tasks: scheduling, email management, calendar coordination, and other assistant tasks and responsibilities associated with the business. Help manage social media pages and content creation using Canva, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok Support marketing campaigns, event planning, and promotional outreach Assist with beauty school inquiries, scheduling tours, and organizing course materials, and assisting instructor with classes. Help maintain accurate client, student, and tenant communication and records Conduct inventory checks, vendor coordination, and restock orders Attend meetings and take notes; assist with errands, mail, and on-site vendor visits Provide ideas to improve workflow, organization, and customer experience Qualifications Must meet V-TOP Internship Program requirements (high school senior or college student/recent graduate of a VA school) Enrolled in or graduated from a CTE, business, entrepreneurship, or cosmetology-related program Strong written and verbal communication skills.
