The Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) Office of Human Resource Management is seeking a highly organized, strategic, and people-focused professional to serve as an Administrative Branch Manager. This position provides overall leadership and direction for a branch responsible for recruitment and training initiatives across the Cabinet and plays a key role in supporting workforce development and operational excellence.
This position is responsible for the overall management of staff and activities within the administrative branch, including the following key functions:
- Manages branch staff and daily administrative operations.
- Plans projects, assigns work, tracks progress, and evaluates employee performance.
- Oversees required training programs, including New Employee Orientation, Supervisor/Manager Training, and CHFS IMPACT.
- Leads the development of customized training to meet agency needs and ensures all materials remain current and effective.
- Oversees recruitment efforts for CHFS, including in-person and virtual career fairs.
- Supervises recruitment staff and supports strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates.
- Monitors branch programs, including the Employee Education Assistance Program.
- Oversees reports tracking required training completion and supports administrative decision-making.
