Position Overview
The Advertising Manager is a senior strategic leader responsible for building and amplifying the company’s brand presence across all channels, with a strong emphasis on advertising, digital engagement, and social media strategy. This role oversees brand development, creative direction, advertising campaigns, and content strategy while driving customer acquisition, audience growth, and measurable brand awareness. The Advertising Manager ensures that all marketing activities align with overall business goals and deliver a cohesive, compelling brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that elevates awareness, differentiation, and market positioning.
- Lead brand narrative development, messaging frameworks, and visual identity evolution.
- Provide brand- and advertising-focused strategic guidance to executive leadership based on market trends, audience insights, and competitive activity.
- Oversee marketing budgets for brand, advertising, and social media initiatives, ensuring strong ROI.
2. Advertising & Creative Direction
- Lead the development and execution of multi-channel advertising campaigns (digital, social, print, broadcast, and outdoor).
- Manage agency relationships and internal creative teams to produce high-impact, on-brand advertising assets.
- Ensure creative quality, brand consistency, and alignment with campaign objectives across all paid media.
- Experiment with innovative ad formats, emerging platforms, and creative storytelling to expand brand reach.
3. Social Media & Digital Engagement
- Own the company’s social media strategy across all platforms, including content direction, channel growth, and community engagement.
- Oversee social media advertising, influencer partnerships, and creator collaborations to boost visibility and engagement.
- Utilize analytics tools to track performance, audience behavior, and emerging trends, adjusting strategies for maximum impact.
- Lead digital demand generation efforts through SEO/SEM, paid social, email marketing, and other digital channels.
4. Content & Campaign Development
- Guide the creation of compelling brand content—videos, graphics, social content, blogs, campaigns, and multimedia assets.
- Ensure all content supports brand positioning and contributes to both organic and paid engagement.
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to develop go-to-market campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive adoption.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style across all platforms and assets.
5. Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of branding, social media, creative, and digital marketing professionals.
- Establish clear KPIs for brand awareness, engagement, and campaign performance.
- Cultivate a collaborative, innovative culture that encourages experimentation and bold creative thinking.
6. Market, Audience & Competitive Insights
- Conduct ongoing research to monitor audience preferences, cultural trends, platform changes, and competitor branding strategies.
- Leverage insights to refine messaging, campaign direction, and social media approaches.
- Present findings to leadership and recommend data-driven brand and advertising strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8–12+ years of progressive advertising experience, including 3–5+ years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
- Proven experience developing successful brand, advertising, and social media strategies.
- Strong background in digital marketing, campaign performance analytics, and creative direction.
- Excellent leadership, communication, storytelling, and project management skills.
- Highly creative yet analytical, with the ability to translate brand vision into measurable marketing outcomes.
