Amazon Advertising Strategists (Flexible Role)

Who We AreLuminary Retailers is a full-service Amazon Management Agency. We represent a portfolio of consumer brands in the beauty category. With a customer-first mindset, we tailor strategies to each brand while thriving in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Our team is collaborative, agile, and flexible - always adapting to the ever-changing Amazon marketplace.

Who We’re Looking ForWe’re open to different paths of experience and career stages. Whether you’re:

  • A seasoned advertiser (5+ years) looking for a flexible arrangement as an independent contractor or part-time role
  • A professional balancing work and family who values flexibility in a long-term role
  • A polished professional with client facing experience, ideally in an agency setting
  • Major plus to have beauty category / industry experience

The common thread is this: we want someone with deep knowledge of Amazon advertising and a strategic, curious mindset. You should be excited to bring forward ideas, test new strategies, and scale what works - not just “check the boxes.” You will be expected to provide and implement new strategies.

As a growing agency, we also offer room for mobility and advancement for the right fit — creating opportunities to expand responsibilities, shape strategy, and grow with us long term.

The RoleYou’ll serve as a strategic architect of client growth across Amazon, leveraging data and insight to turn advertising into an engine for brand and business expansion.

You’ll drive client advertising success by:

  • Architecting data-backed strategies across Amazon Ads Console, DSP, and Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), connecting signals across the full funnel to deliver scalable impact.
  • Translating data into strategy — from keyword intent to customer journey insights — using advanced tools like Helium 10, Pacvue, and internal dashboards to uncover patterns and guide decision-making.
  • Tracking market share and share of voice (SOV) in correlation with advertising performance, interpreting how visibility translates to conversion and long-term customer acquisition.
  • Designing intelligent test frameworks to push performance boundaries, identify what truly drives incremental growth, and scale proven strategies.
  • Forecasting budgets, sales, and performance metrics (ROAS, TACoS, NTB, etc.) to build clear pathways for predictable, profitable growth.
  • Analyzing keyword, audience, and creative insights to ensure alignment between paid strategy, organic visibility, and brand storytelling.
  • Diagnosing and resolving performance challenges across campaigns, including keywords, copy, and landing page optimization.
  • Crafting clear, story-driven reports that communicate the why behind results — turning complex data into actionable business narratives for clients.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with creative, analytics, and client service teams to align strategies that compound impact across every stage of the customer journey.

What You’ll Bring

5+ years of experience in Amazon Advertising, ideally across both Seller and Vendor accounts. Advanced familiarity with tools such as Pacvue, Skai, and bulk operations is a strong plus.

Data architecture mindset — you don’t just pull reports; you know how to structure, layer, and interpret data to reveal what truly drives performance.

Expertise with tools like Helium 10, AMC, and DSP, using them to design data-driven, full-funnel strategies that connect awareness, intent, and conversion.

AI-forward workflow approach, using automation and intelligence to refine targeting, forecast outcomes, and uncover new growth opportunities.

Deep understanding of the customer journey, and how every touchpoint — from content and SEO to DSP and Sponsored Ads — compounds performance across the funnel.

Strong analytical and Excel skills, capable of transforming complex data into clear, strategic insights that drive measurable results.

Confident communicator and storyteller, able to simplify sophisticated performance narratives into actionable direction for both clients and internal teams.

Proactive problem-solver, always curious and driven to optimize — you don’t wait for insights, you create them.

Self-motivated and accountable, thriving in a flexible, remote-first environment that values ownership and impact.

The Details

  • Remote U.S. role (EU, SA, and LATAM candidates encouraged to apply).
  • Flexible schedule with core availability for client calls and internal meetings during business hours, typically 9a-5p CST.
