Major duties and responsibilities

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist companies in better understand and develop solutions to respond to the complex and evolving policy, regulatory, and business environment risks and opportunities associated with ESG/Sustainability and Decarbonization.

Supervise and enhance the analysis of corporate activities and provide recommendations related to enhance their sustainability/ESG strategy, methods, framework, and related tools to support clients in achieving their sustainability/ ESG objectives.

Development of sustainability/ESG programs and related reporting, such as materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, metric/KPI identification (in alignment with common sustainability/ESG reporting standards such as GRI), and the preparation of reporting (internal and external) materials.

Supervise and coach engagement teams to perform fieldwork, including data collection, analysis, and work paper documentation; prepare, edit, and proofread narrative reports and presentations of observations and recommendations.

Support team leads with client relationships, business development efforts, and drafting thought leadership, as well as internal collateral and pieces of training on sustainability and ESG topics; work closely, but independently, under the direction of Managers, Directors, and Partners.

Review of relevant sustainability data (i.e. benchmarking, trends, regulatory developments).

Day to day management of projects, ensuring quality and liaising with internal and external stakeholders and manage budgets.

Coach junior team members to develop new skills, monitor their performance, support their development and help manage their career growth.

Ability to quickly learn concepts outside of your area of expertise.
Education requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in ESG/Sustainability or equivalent studies.

Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB)

Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) like ISO 1400, 45001.etc.

Energy related standards like ISO 50001
Work experience requirements
:

4-5 years of previous work experience
-
Experience with sustainability consulting is preferred.
