The Tiny Mess Club seeks an energetic and creative Lead Teacher to develop and instruct our Messy Science after-school program for children aged 4-6. This role includes collaborating with an Assistant Teacher.

About the Role: This is a fun, hands-on class for kids where we mix play, science, and a little bit of mess! You’ll teach one class per week on Mondays from 4:15–5:15 PM, with setup beginning at 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the owners to plan engaging, age-appropriate “messy science” lessons and experiments
• Set up the classroom and materials before class and ensure cleanup afterward
• Lead class activities, guiding children through exploration and experimentation
• Work alongside an assistant teacher to support kids and keep things running smoothly

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with young children (early childhood or elementary-aged)
• Creative, playful, and comfortable with a bit of mess!
• Reliable, responsible, and enthusiastic about sensory play and hands-on learning

Schedule:

• Mondays, 3:30–5:30 PM.
• This class runs for 7 weeks with a break between sessions. The dates for the next two sessions are as follows: January 26-March 16 (no class Feb 16) and April 6-May 18.

Location: 520 Bedford Road, Pleasantville, NY

Compensation: $75-$90/session based on experience.
