Job Overview

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that align with educational standards and cater to diverse learning needs, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports child welfare.
  • Deliver lessons that foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through innovative teaching strategies and hands-on activities.
  • Assess student progress regularly using standardized testing and formative assessments; adapt instruction accordingly to meet individual learning goals.
  • Manage classroom dynamics effectively by maintaining classroom management routines that encourage respectful behavior and active participation.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and colleagues to support each child's educational journey through clear communication and regular updates.
  • Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support children with unique learning needs or developmental challenges.
  • Plan and organize activities that promote early childhood education principles, including toddler care, preschool experience, and daycare best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities related to childhood development, curriculum development, behavior management, and teaching physical education.
  • Support child welfare initiatives by ensuring a safe environment conducive to learning and emotional growth.

Experience

  • Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood or preschool settings is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across multiple subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, or Montessori methods.
  • Experience working with students requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques that foster respectful behavior and positive social interactions.
  • Prior experience in private schools or daycare environments enhances your suitability for this role.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and students’ families.
  • Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and tutoring strategies to support student achievement.
  • Background in childhood development theories and practices to tailor instruction effectively for various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers.
