The Agri Marketing and Sales (Field Staff) will be responsible for field-level marketing, sales, and customer relationship management. The role involves meeting farmers, dealers, and distributors, conducting field demonstrations, and achieving monthly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit farmers, retailers, and distributors to promote and sell agricultural products (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, farm machinery, etc.).
- Conduct field demonstrations, farmer meetings, and awareness programs.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within assigned territories.
- Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, and key farmers.
- Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer feedback.
- Coordinate with the head office and telemarketing team for lead conversion.
- Prepare daily and weekly sales and activity reports.
- Participate in agri exhibitions, fairs, and local marketing events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Agriculture, Agri-Business, or related field (preferred).
- 0–3 years of experience in agri-sales, rural marketing, or farm advisory roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in [English / Hindi / Local Language].
- Two-wheeler and valid driving license (mandatory).
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned areas.
- Passion for agriculture and helping farmers improve productivity.
