We are building an intelligent AI Agent platform that connects seamlessly with major Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management Systems (PMS) to automate complex healthcare processes.

As an AI Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize the AI core that powers these healthcare AI agents — including language understanding, workflow reasoning, and contextual response generation. You’ll work closely with experts in data engineering, EHR integration, and product design to bring precision and automation into healthcare communications.

Key Responsibilities

· AI Agent Development

o Build and optimize multi-modal conversational agents (voice, SMS, and email) for various healthcare processes.

o Develop LLM-based dialog systems that can interpret patient intent, verify appointment data, and drive next steps.

o Integrate with structured data sources (EHR, FHIR APIs, appointment systems) for real-time, context-aware responses.

o Design prompt architectures, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows, and context management pipelines.

· Voice and Text Intelligence

o Implement speech-to-text (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS) components optimized for healthcare accuracy and tone.

o Develop voice orchestration pipelines that connect NLP, reasoning, and telephony frameworks (e.g., Twilio, AWS Connect).

o Train and tune models for conversation flow control, interrupt handling, and multi-turn dialog coherence.

· Data and Integration Collaboration

o Work closely with data engineers to consume normalized healthcare data from HL7, ODBC, and other EHR data feeds.

o Collaborate with software engineers to deploy scalable AI services via APIs or event-driven architectures.

o Support logging, auditing, and explainability frameworks to ensure every AI interaction is traceable and compliant.

· Compliance C Safety

o Design agents with HIPAA, HITECH, and SOC 2-compliant data handling principles.

o Implement guardrails, hallucination checks, and response moderation to ensure clinical and conversational accuracy.

o Maintain model safety documentation and support compliance reviews.

Required Skills G Ǫualifications

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Computational Linguistics, or related field.

· 3+ years of hands-on experience developing production-grade AI or conversational systems.

· Strong proficiency with:

o Python, LangChain, LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel)

o Vector databases

o OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs

o Speech frameworks: Whisper, Amazon Transcribe, ElevenLabs

o API integration with EHR/healthcare systems (FHIR, HL7v2, REST)

· Deep understanding of NLP, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation.

· Experience deploying AI services in AWS, Azure

Preferred Skills

· Experience with telephony or voice automation frameworks (Twilio, Vonage, Amazon Connect).

· Prior work on agent memory, reasoning frameworks, or tool-using AI agents.

· Knowledge of data pipelines for AI training and feedback loops (RAG retraining, fine- tuning).

· Exposure to EHR integrations or healthcare workflow automation systems.

· Familiarity with observability and analytics tools for conversational AI (PostHog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
