Job Overview: As an AI Engineer, you will develop, optimize, and integrate machine learning models into AvePoint s SaaS systems. The role bridges data science, software engineering, and DevOps, applying AI to real-world use cases such as document classification, anomaly detection, and recommendation systems.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, train, and evaluate ML/DL models using frameworks like TensorFlow / PyTorch.
- Build data pipelines (ETL) and perform data preprocessing for large datasets.
- Implement and deploy trained models via APIs, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS / Azure ML).
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate AI components into SaaS environments.
- Optimize models for scalability, latency, and cost efficiency.
- Research emerging AI technologies and propose new approaches to improve system intelligence.
Requirements: - Technical - Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python (plus: C#, Java, Node.js).
- Proficient in ML fundamentals, neural network architectures (CNN, RNN/LSTM, Transformers).
- Familiar with data structures, algorithms, and complexity optimization.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, modular code design.
- Understanding of cloud deployment, serverless systems, and real-time inference.
- Soft Skills - Able to explain complex AI models in practical, business-friendly terms.
- Strong team collaboration across R&D and product teams.
- High ownership and passion for using AI to solve real-world problems.
