Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled AI Expert to lead the development of autonomy algorithms and intelligent systems for next-generation simulation and autonomous platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AI/ML, sensor fusion, and robotic autonomy, with hands-on experience building deployable intelligence for UAVs, UGVs, or defense/industrial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, train, and validate machine learning and deep learning models for perception, navigation, and decision-making.
- Build AI-driven autonomy functions, including obstacle detection, tracking, path planning, and behavioral decision logic.
- Implement advanced frameworks such as Reinforcement Learning, SLAM, cognitive architectures, or hybrid AI models.
- Optimize models for real-time performance in embedded or simulation environments.
Sensor & System Integration
- Integrate camera, LiDAR, radar, and other sensor data using sensor fusion techniques.
- Work closely with robotics, simulation, and systems engineering teams to deploy AI modules into real-time systems.
- Troubleshoot and enhance algorithms within Linux, ROS/ROS2, and simulation-based environments.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AI/ML development, preferably within robotics, defense, UAV/UGV, or autonomous systems.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Python, C/C++, ROS/ROS2, Linux
- TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX
- classical and advanced computer vision techniques: CNNs, Transformers, SLAM frameworks, Reinforcement Learning libraries
- Proven experience deploying AI models to real-time or embedded systems.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with simulation platforms (Gazebo, Unity, Unreal, custom engines).
- Knowledge of control systems, robotics kinematics, or motion planning algorithms.
- Exposure to defense-sector autonomy requirements or safety-critical software development.
