Job Description
Job Summary
We’re looking for a PL/SQL Developer who can design, develop and maintain database objects and ensure smooth data operations across applications. The role needs solid hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL, performance tuning and understanding of business workflows.
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers and views.
- Optimize complex SQL queries and improve database performance.
- Design data models and support schema changes when needed.
- Work with application teams to integrate database logic with backend services.
- Debug production issues related to SQL queries or database processes.
- Write clean, reusable and well-documented PL/SQL code.
- Support data migration, ETL jobs and batch processing.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and compliance with internal standards.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development.
- Solid understanding of SQL tuning, indexing strategies and execution plans.
- Experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c or higher.
- Good knowledge of database design, normalization and ER modeling.
- Experience working with large datasets and high-volume transactional systems.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and scheduling tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot database performance and application integration issues.
- Experience with Unix shell scripting.
- Knowledge of Python or any scripting language for automation.
- Familiarity with cloud databases (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure SQL).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
