Position Title: Junior Advocate

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Advocate to join our Legal team.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in real estate laws, revenue matters, property documentation, and litigation procedures.
  • The role also involves legal documentation, court appearances, and liaison work with external counsel.
  • The position requires flexibility in working hours, especially for post-office visits and legal errands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit external counsels office post 6:30 PM for case discussions and document submissions.
  • Attend court hearings, police stations, and other judicial/quasi-judicial bodies as required.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents including property and revenue records.
  • Provide legal support on real estate projects, title verification, land acquisition, RERA compliance, and due diligence.
  • Conduct legal research and provide support in case preparation.
  • Maintain and update case files, follow up on hearing dates, and ensure timely compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for gathering necessary information and documents.
  • Liaise with external legal consultants and advocates on ongoing matters.
  • Translate and interpret Kannada legal documents when required.

Required Qualifications And Skills

Education: Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in litigation or corporate legal field with exposure to revenue matters and real estate transactions.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing Kannada is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of revenue documents, property documentation, and court procedures.
  • Familiarity with real estate laws, RERA regulations, land records, and registration processes.
  • Excellent communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive legal issues with discretion and professionalism.
  • Willingness to travel locally and work beyond standard office hours when required
