About Us:

We are a small, but expanding, patient-centered primary care clinic located in Florida owned by an ER/ICU experienced Nurse Practitioner, in addition to expanding our healthcare access into Alabama an equally experience Nurse Practitioner, additionally, we have an ER Physician/Family Practice physician as our medical director in Florida & Georgia. Our clinic is located near the picturesque Mexico Beach, Florida. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician/Medical Director to provide remote oversight for 10% of charting and two on-site visits per Alabama regulation and collaborate with our team. We currently do not have an active office at this time however this is in the works pending collaboration, so will not be an issue for on site. We currently are certified in TRICARE, Blue Cross Blue Shield, VA, CIGNA, UMR, UHC (I’m probably a few more I am forgetting). Our healthcare approaches to do comprehensive care and we are very detailed oriented and Collaborating with General Surgerybariatric pre-and post management as well as have access to extensive resources through our hospital employment.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a remote Physician/Medical Director to offer expertise and guidance in general primary care. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Alabama. This role requires availability for consultations via calls and texts, providing medical oversight and support to our Nurse Practitioner as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer remote medical oversight and collaborate with our Nurse Practitioner for primary care services.
• Provide guidance and consultations via phone and text for patient care and clinical decisions.
• Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulatory requirements remotely.
• Assist in developing and reviewing clinic protocols and policies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with an active medical license in Alabama.
• Board Certification in a relevant field of medicine.
• Previous experience in primary care is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide remote support effectively.
• Malpractice insurance can be provided by the clinic.
