Job Description

Role Overview

We’re looking for an Amazon Growth Manager who will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, setting sales targets, and measuring performance for brands selling on Amazon. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Amazon’s ecosystem—someone who can optimize listings, manage ad budgets, and deliver data-driven insights to maximize ROI. A key deliverable for this position is preparing detailed brand audit reports that evaluate current performance and provide actionable recommendations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Identification
  • Conduct ongoing audits of product listings, ads, reviews, and conversion metrics.
  • Identify gaps in SEO (keywords, titles), content (images, bullet points, A+), and pricing/review management.
  • Recommend new product opportunities or improvements for under-optimized SKUs.
  • Sales Target Setting
  • Use historical data, market trends, seasonality, and inventory constraints to set monthly sales targets per SKU.
  • Work closely with the PPC and account management teams to align goals and execution strategies.
  • Performance Measurement & Reporting
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports on key metrics:
  • Organic vs. Paid Sales, ACoS, TACoS
  • Keyword ranking changes
  • Total ad spend vs. revenue
  • Margin and inventory tracking
  • Provide clear, actionable insights on where improvements or adjustments are needed.
  • ROI Calculators & Analysis
  • Listing Optimization ROI Calculator: Project the lift from improved click-through and conversion due to better SEO, images, and design.
  • Buy Box Recovery ROI Calculator: Estimate revenue lost and potential gain when regaining the Buy Box.
  • ACoS Reduction Calculator: Model profit impact from lowering ACoS and reallocation of ad budget.
  • Strategic Recommendations
  • Advise on campaign budget changes (where to cut or increase spend).
  • Recommend content optimizations or pricing adjustments based on performance data.
  • Collaborate with supply chain or inventory managers to prevent stockouts and manage overstock.
  • Brand Audit Report Preparation
  • Conduct in-depth brand audits that evaluate:
  • Listing quality (SEO, content, reviews)
  • Competitive positioning (pricing, review health)
  • Advertising efficiency (ACoS, keyword performance)
  • Conversion funnels (traffic sources, CTR, CR)
  • Present findings to internal stakeholders or clients with a prioritized roadmap for improvements and growth strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Amazon Expertise: 2-4 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central accounts, PPC campaigns, and listing optimizations.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong command of Excel/Google Sheets and ability to use Amazon Brand Analytics, Business Reports, and third-party tools (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, DataDive).
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Comfortable creating ROI models, interpreting performance metrics, and making recommendations backed by numbers.
  • Marketing & SEO Know-How: Familiarity with Amazon SEO best practices, keyword research, and content strategy.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to produce clear, concise reports and present findings to clients or senior management.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to handle multiple SKUs, campaigns, and initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with additional Amazon tools such as Pacvue, Sellics, or other PPC optimization platforms.
  • Background in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not always required).
  • Familiarity with profitability tracking (understanding margins, fees, cost of goods).
  • Track record of successfully reducing ACoS and driving revenue growth on Amazon.

  • Market & Keyword Research: Helium 10, Jungle Scout, DataDive
  • Amazon Analytics: Brand Analytics, Business Reports, Amazon Ads Console
  • Reporting & Analytics: Excel, Google Sheets, custom dashboards (e.g., Data Studio)
  • Inventory & Margin Tracking: Proprietary tools or integrated software (e.g., ERP or forecasting solutions)

  • Increased Sales & Market Share: Achieving or surpassing monthly sales targets and improving keyword rankings.
  • Optimized Campaign Spend: Maintaining or improving ACoS and TACoS while growing top-line revenue.
  • High-Impact Brand Audits: Delivering actionable brand audits that lead to measurable improvements in listings, content, and overall profitability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Smooth coordination with inventory, creative, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive brand execution.
