Analyst, BI & Analytics

The role supports a best-in-class BI platform designed to provide key information to hotel and corporate commercial teams and enable data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Build dashboards providing critical metrics and business intelligence
• Continuously optimize user experience with reporting tools e.g. Tableau
• Achieve operational efficiency by automating routine reporting requests
• Provide reporting and analysis on top-line performance
• Liaise with Central data teams to manage user on-boarding and maintain Tableau & Snowflake environments

Training & Support:

• Create and maintain documentation on all dashboards and reports
• Monitor customer support inbox and promptly engage with users
• Run webinars as needed on new dashboards, refreshers, FAQs, etc
• Document user requirements for creating or enhancing reports

Data Collection and Governance:

• Source data from relevant sources including PMSs, RMS, outside benchmarking data vendors and others
• Design & build data warehouse structures
• Monitor regular data flows to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Build data governance structures to quickly alert of discrepancies
• Manage processes to correct data deficiencies as quickly as possible

Research and Analysis:

• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions understanding requirements, designing methodology, presenting conclusions
