Job overview and responsibilities

The Analyst – EA Project Management plays a critical role in the successful execution of EA Projects, both on-time and on-budget, through effective oversight and management of project materials. The Analyst is responsible for the timely review, analysis, and ordering of identified materials for each new project while also maintaining and appropriately actioning ongoing projects. Effective communication and close collaboration with stakeholders, both internal and external, are essential for our continued success. Additionally, maintaining a high level of organization and providing timely project status reports are vital aspects of this role.

  • Daily management of EA Projects – this includes assessing the current project status, identifying any immediate action required, evaluating potential obstacles and proposing innovative solutions as well as opportunities to advance project timelines
  • Collaborating with EA Sr. Analysts as well as other teams both internal and external to the Supply Chain Org, including but not limited to Engineering, Maintenance Planning, Base Material Coordination, Procurement, Vendor Management, and Supplier Performance, to ensure project deliverables are on track and the development of contingency plans to mitigate potential risk
  • Organize and report out project status details including on-off track, existing risks and mitigation plans enacted, and identifying next steps to be taken, including points of escalation required
  • Develop Supply Chain activity timelines for individual projects within the portfolio to ensure all activities are completed within the overall project timeline


This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or comparable experience
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in fields of the Supply Chain, Airline or Manufacturing Industry
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Planning and Management
  • Analytical approach to problem solving, with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage workload accordingly through task prioritization
  • Self Motivated and engrained continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong communication and writing skills and demonstrated ability to develop internal and external relationships
  • Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
