Job Summary

Blis is seeking a Senior Data Scientist (Freelance) to provide actionable insights and advanced analytics for our clients and internal teams. You will work on complex data sets, develop predictive models, and translate data into clear, strategic recommendations. This is a freelance role with flexible hours and remote collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop advanced analytical models and extract actionable insights from data.
• Conduct deep-dive audience analyses using digital, mobile, and behavioural data.
• Build predictive models, segmentation frameworks, and data mining workflows.
• Support sales and client teams with insights for media briefs and proposals.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
• Lead end-to-end analytics projects, from data extraction to insights delivery.
• Contribute to Thought Leadership and research initiatives, including white papers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Senior Analyst in analytics, research, or media.
• Strong quantitative research and statistical modelling skills.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
• Experience with large-scale datasets, predictive analytics, and machine learning.
• Strong understanding of audience analytics, digital media, and consumer behaviour.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to simplify complex data.
• Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mobile/location analytics or ad-tech platforms.
• Exposure to media planning/buying or digital publishing.
• Strong storytelling ability with data to influence business decisions.
