Android Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to define, design, and ship new features.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure software quality.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and responsiveness.

Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and integrate with backend services.

Maintain and improve existing codebases.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong experience in Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Kotlin, and Java.

Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services.

Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Knowledge of modern Android architecture components (MVVM, Jetpack libraries, LiveData, Room, etc.).

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, including dependency injection frameworks (Dagger/Hilt).

Understanding of Google Play Store deployment and app signing.
Experience: 2 Years

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern UI.

Experience in reactive programming (RxJava / Kotlin Flow / Coroutines).

Experience with automated testing (unit tests, UI tests).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.

Knowledge of mobile app security best practices.

Previous experience in Agile/Scrum environment.
