Job Title: Women's Apparel Graphic Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative Women's Apparel Graphic Designer to support the development of our multi faceted product lines. This role requires trend awareness, collaborative working style, and strong graphic artwork skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Ideation: Research current market and fashion trends to develop original, trend-right graphics, illustrations, typography, and seasonal themes.
  • Technical Artwork Creation: Use design software (primarily Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop) to create detailed, production-ready art files, including color separations, repeat patterns, and precise layouts for embellishments like screen prints, embroidery, or rhinestones.
  • Prototyping and Sampling: Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications (tech packs) for manufacturers and review prototypes and samples (strike-offs) for color accuracy, fit, and overall quality, communicating any necessary revisions to offshore teams and vendors.
  • Collaboration: Partner with apparel designers to ensure a cohesive collection that meets both aesthetic and business objectives.
  • Asset Management: Organize and maintain a digital library of artwork, design files, and materials for future reference and brand consistency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in graphic design, fashion design, or a related field is typically required.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop, is essential.
  • Design Skills: Strong illustration skills, an eye for typography, color theory, and layout are critical.
  • Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of garment construction, different printing techniques (e.g., screen printing), materials, and the overall apparel production process.

Soft Skills:

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in creating production-ready files and reviewing samples.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and visual communication skills to present ideas and provide clear direction to internal and external partners.
  • Time Management: The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
