Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that involve identifying and resolving issues within critical business systems. Your typical day will include collaborating with team members to troubleshoot software problems, analyzing system performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications. You will also be responsible for documenting findings and solutions, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of the systems you support. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for application support. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - Strong understanding of database management and optimization techniques. - Experience with backup and recovery strategies for database systems. - Familiarity with performance tuning and troubleshooting of Oracle databases. - Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL for database querying and scripting. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
