Application Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Application Support Specialist to join our team supporting online banking systems. This role ensures the smooth operation, reliability, and performance of our online and mobile banking platforms. The ideal candidate will serve as the first line of support, with a strong background in troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining system integrity, and collaborating across teams to deliver exceptional service continuity and user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out day to day IT Technical support, maintenance/upgrade, and administration on online bank’s systems.
• Act as first line support to Troubleshoot, Monitoring, and identify any system related issues.
• Act as first line support to Investigate, Resolve and escalate any related online or mobile Apps functional and system issues.
• Maintain the systems to keep it up and running smoothly to ensure users get the maximum benefit from it.
• Deploy the new changes or updates or fixies on all level of the applications components.
• Be Familiarized with the network/hardware infrastructure within the bank, and all applications, and fully understand the interfaces and interdependencies
• Involve in the Release management activities with online banking and other applications.
• Support Business continuity tests for DR site.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent IT related.
• At least 5 years’ experience in supporting IT system.
• Knowledge of oracle administration WebLogic portal 11g
• Knowledge of oracle administration WebLogic 14c
• Knowledge of web servers IIS
• Knowledge of database oracle and MSSQL.
• Knowledge of Linux administration.
• Excellent communication and IT customer service skills
