STAr-Edge Technologies is the USA branch of STAr Technologies, which is an international company with over 600 employees worldwide. STAr is the acronym for "Semiconductor Test Architects" - we are the architects with leading technologies for semiconductor test solutions.

STAr-Edge Technologies is seeking an Applications Engineer to support its customers in the U.S territories. The ideal candidate must have a broad mix of Electrical & Mechanical skills, must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service.

Job Description (including but not limited to):

· Technical lead between customer and STAr

· Provide technical guidance on design, capability and technical project management

· Knowledge of test methodologies, semiconductor products and technologies, Metrology, Probers and Testers is a plus

· Consult with customers directly for installations and troubleshooting if required

· Ability to clearly communicate with factory regarding technical issues

· Advise Management on issues such as customer satisfaction and provide solutions to promote internal process improvement

· Ability to work in a clean room environment

· Detail oriented person with the ability to document and produce additional training material when necessary

Desired Skills & Experience:

· Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics

· Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and determine the Root Cause

· Previous probe card design and support experience preferred

· Knowledge in PCB design, ATE programming, Test HW or related preferred

· Must have driver’s license and have or be able to obtain a U.S passport

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
