Key responsibilities

Design and planning: Create concepts, plans, and detailed drawings for new builds or renovations.

Client consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs and discuss ideas, materials, and costs.

Technical documentation: Prepare blueprints, specifications, and construction documents using software like AutoCAD or Revit.

Project management: Manage timelines, budgets, and project teams, and ensure designs are implemented correctly.

Regulatory compliance: Ensure plans meet building codes, safety regulations, and obtain necessary planning approvals.

Construction oversight: Visit construction sites to monitor progress and resolve issues that arise during building.

Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals, such as engineers, contractors, and government agencies. Required skills and qualifications Degree in architecture or a related field. Knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and safety standards. Proficiency with CAD and other design software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong , collaboration, and project management skills. Creative and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and strong visualization skills.
