Architect Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare product samples for EIFS, Styro EDFS, and Roof Systems for client submissions, events, and project demonstrations.
• Conduct indicative tests in-house and prepare samples for third-party fire testing and performance validation.
• Arrange and maintain marketing samples for exhibitions, events, and customer presentations.
• Perform research on material selection for different applications to ensure best performance, durability, and compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and R&D teams to identify new technologies, materials, and innovative solutions.
• Follow up with testing laboratories for material performance, fire resistance, and system certifications.
• Support the technical team in preparing compliance statements, technical submittals, and reports in line with project and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and execute mock-ups at project sites to demonstrate system application and performance.
• Provide on-site technical support during trials and system implementation.
• Conduct training sessions for applicators, contractors, and partners on EIFS, Styro EDFS, and roof systems.
• Provide technical presentations and “lunch & learn” sessions for consultants, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Work closely with the technical, sales, and marketing teams to align sample preparation, mock-ups, and testing with business requirements.
• Provide feedback to the R&D and product teams for continuous improvement based on field performance and testing results.
• Create technical 2D & 3D drawings using the optimum software e.g. AutoCAD, Solid Works, 3D Max, Maya based on given specifications and calculations from hand sketches, verbal instructions and site visits.
• Seamlessly into the granting and working with managers design consultants and subcontractors, to produce and alter drawings.
• Exhaustively reviewing and checking sketches and drawings for errors, before being sent to the next operation etc.

• Timely preparation and delivery of samples for projects and events.
• Number of tests successfully coordinated with external laboratories.
• Effectiveness of mock-ups and training sessions delivered.
• Compliance of systems with fire and regulatory standards.
• Contribution to material research and innovative solutions.
• Level of support provided to technical and marketing teams in achieving project.
