We are a Georgia-focused construction management and design firm based in Stone Mountain, GA. Our team specializes in high-quality, code-compliant design solutions across a wide range of residential and light commercial projects. We are currently seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Construction Designer to join our team and support the development of Architectural, Structural, and Civil plans, including Decks, ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units), additions, and more.

Job Summary
As an Architectural Designer, you will lead the preparation of accurate and professional drawings for permit submission and construction. The ideal candidate is proficient in industry-standard software, understands Georgia-specific building codes and zoning requirements, and can manage a variety of project types independently or in collaboration with engineers and project managers.

Responsibilities

  • Create and revise Architectural, Structural, and Civil design plans using Revit, AutoCAD, and Rhinoceros 3D
  • Design and draft plans for Decks, ADUs, garages, additions, interior renovations, and site development
  • Utilize Grasshopper and SketchUp for conceptual, 3D, and parametric design
  • Prepare complete construction drawing sets, including plans, sections, elevations, and details
  • Collaborate with engineers, clients, and project managers to meet Georgia building codes and permitting requirements
  • Produce 2D animations or visualizations to communicate design intent when needed
  • Track revisions, manage redlines, and document all design decisions
  • Ensure technical accuracy, code compliance, and timely delivery of project drawings

Experience

  • Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, SketchUp, Grasshopper
  • Working knowledge of Georgia residential and commercial codes, zoning, and permit processes
  • Experience preparing permit-ready drawing sets across multiple disciplines (Architectural, Structural, Civil)
  • Ability to design and detail decks, ADUs, site plans, and small structures
  • Excellent drafting skills, spatial awareness, and attention to detail
  • Effective communicator and collaborator with clients, engineers, and building officials
  • A portfolio showcasing relevant work is required
  • Georgia-based candidates strongly preferred
