Architectural Draughtsman

We are seeking a talented and experienced AutoCAD Draftsman with a strong background in structural steel design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum, and a solid understanding of engineering principles and detailing. A passion for precision, a collaborative attitude, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings by interpreting engineering sketches, specifications, and supporting documents.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and 3D, with the ability to create accurate and detailed 3D models of steel structures.
• Ability to draw and detail structural steel frameworks and assemblies, including connections and fabrication drawings.
• Perform basic load calculations and structural analysis using STAAD.Pro or similar structural analysis software will be considered a plus.
• Develop layouts and multi-view drawings of components and systems, clearly depicting relationships and assembly requirements.
• Generate Bill of Materials (BoM) or Bill of Quantities (BoQ) based on design drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure accurate implementation of design and specifications.
• Maintain and organize a comprehensive database of drawings with regular backup protocols.
• Conduct occasional site visits to inspect work, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, and support quality assurance efforts.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in drafting and detailing structural steel projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D; experience with other design software (e.g., Tekla, SolidWorks, Revit) is a plus.
• Familiarity with structural analysis tools such as STAAD.Pro will be a plus.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and construction standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits and inspections.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
