An arts and crafts job involves creating handmade functional or decorative items by hand using various materials and techniques like pottery, painting, embroidery and simple sketching. Key responsibilities include designing products, selecting and processing materials, and maintaining a high standard of quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and creation:
• Design and create handmade items such as pottery, sketching, embroidery etc.
• Develop creative concepts and prototypes for craft products.
• Use various tools and equipment, including hand and power tools, to cut, shape, mold, and assemble materials.
• Production and quality control:
• Select appropriate materials based on strength, color, texture, and other characteristics.
• Apply finishes to completed products.
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency

Key skills and qualifications

• Strong artistic and creative skills with proven experience in a specific craft.
• Proficiency with relevant tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
• Business and marketing skills to sell products.

Must Have knowledge of Embroidery, Simple Sketching etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Art and Craft : 2 years (Preferred)
