Summary

We are seeking an Art Teacher to join our team at Kat's Yoga Lab. This role will focus on integrating art into our wellness programs, helping participants express themselves creatively while promoting mental and emotional well-being. The position is based in the Bellaire area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging art lessons that align with our wellness philosophy.
• Facilitate art activities that promote self-expression and emotional healing.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a positive learning environment for all participants.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts
• Proven experience in teaching art, particularly to children or in therapeutic settings.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Passion for holistic health and wellness practices, particularly yoga or meditation.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Experience: Two years of related experience with knowledge of mental health care is preferred.

Availability needed:

Weekdays 3-8PM(5 sessions)
