We are looking for an Assembly Department Manager to guide our assembly team and help keep production running smoothly. Bring a data-driven mindset that turns numbers into insight, a strong leadership presence that motivates teams to deliver results, and a continuous improvement focus that keeps safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals moving forward. Prior supervisory experience is helpful but not required — we’ll provide support and training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day assembly operations, including assembly, finishing, and packaging
  • Support and mentor team members in their work
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and maintain attention to detail
  • Help schedule and coordinate assembly work to meet production goals
  • Track inventory for assembled and packaged items
  • Identify practical ways to improve workflow and efficiency
  • Support new product launches and collaborate with the product development team
  • Maintain and organize assembly tools and equipment
  • Analyze data on teams’ performance
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure the timely delivery of products
Requirements:

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on assembly or manufacturing experience
  • Comfort working on the shop floor with tools and equipment
  • Attention to detail and focus on product quality
  • Willingness to learn and grow into a leadership role
  • Effective communication skills to work with different teams and staff
  • Experience with wood products, hardware assembly, or similar operations is a plus

  • Willingness to step in and help the team as needed
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Education:

  • High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
