Job Purpose:
To track and supervise all FGC’s assets at Business unit level. Ensure that all
assets are tagged at receiving and located against the correct project code.
Track and manage these assets to employee accountability and ensure that is
reflected in Kayan system.
Key Responsibilities:

Build, load and maintain the assets register.

Manage and review daily capturing of additions, disposals and transfers ensuring accuracy and quality.

Communicate with warehouse supervisors to ensure the correct coding of asset tags according to system generated numbers.

Responsible to reconcile assets to the general ledger assets accounts using the applicable software for submission to the finance department

Label and record all company assets before distributing to user and record details on Dynamics 365

Provide input and feedback on how to improve the Asset Policy and Procedures.

Updated asset records on daily basis to ensure easy access.

Update Kayan system to ensure employee accountability.

Conduct physical verification of assets yearly

Obtain staff members’ signature following asset verification

Conduct the depreciation calculation and submit to finance.

Obtain a signed asset transfer document from staff transferring assets off-site or between staff members.

Process the request for asset disposal form.
Skills / Experiences:
-
Prior asset management experience of 3 years

Dynamics 365 experience preference

Warehouse supervisor or similar role withing a SCM environment
Education:
-
Diploma in Procurement or Business Administration
