Job Summary

We are hiring an Assets Controller to join our Finance Department in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and tracking company assets, ensuring accuracy in records, coordinating asset maintenance, and supporting financial reporting.

Industry experience in catering or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain updated records of the company's assets, including equipment, vehicles, and property.
• Conduct regular asset verification and physical inspections.
• Tag assets and ensure proper documentation for all asset transactions.
• Monitor asset usage and coordinate scheduled maintenance with relevant departments.
• Prepare asset depreciation schedules and support financial accounting.
• Assist with the procurement of new assets and manage disposal of obsolete items.
• Report damaged, missing, or misused assets and support investigations.
• Ensure compliance with internal asset control policies and audit standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in asset control, inventory management, or finance-related functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the catering or hospitality industry is a strong advantage, but not a mandatory requirement.
• Candidates with experience handling asset tracking software will be preferred.
