Job Summary
The Accounts Assistant supports the finance team by managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with reporting, and ensuring smooth financial operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to work with numbers accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily transactions including sales, purchases, expenses, and payments
  • Assist in preparing invoices and follow up on accounts receivable
  • Process vendor bills and support accounts payable activities
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain updated ledgers
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
  • Maintain organized documentation for audits and compliance
  • Assist in payroll processing when required
  • Coordinate with internal teams for financial data and clarifications
  • Perform general administrative duties related to finance

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
  • Strong numerical accuracy and data entry skills
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with integrity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools
  • Six months to one year of prior experience in an accounting or finance support role

Work Environment

  • Office based role with regular collaboration with finance and operations teams
  • May require occasional extended hours during closing periods

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
