Job Title: Women's Apparel Assistant Designer

Location: Los Angeles Fashion District

Department: Design

Reports To: Design Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative Women's Apparel Assistant Designer to support the development of our multi faceted product lines. This role requires trend awareness, collaborative working style, and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain design archives, fabric and trim library, sample inventory
• Communicate with vendors on materials sourcing
• Create technical flat sketches and CADs using Adobe Illustrator
• Create graphic artwork
• Input new styles into ERP database
• Assist with techpacks using Microsoft Excel
• Track development sample status

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in women’s apparel design (internships considered with strong portfolio)
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office
• Strong sketching and CAD skills
• Solid understanding of garment construction, fit, and fabrication
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Passion for women’s fashion and trend awareness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
