Job Purpose:

To provide direct leadership over the operational delivery of Corporate Fleet services across RSG, supporting the Senior Manager in managing personnel, service providers and departmental performance.

The Assistant Manager ensures operational standards are upheld, resources are efficiently deployed, and that internal coordination and issue resolution are handled proactively. This role serves as the daily operational lead and line manager to the fleet specialists, coordinators and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership

Lead the execution of day-to-day fleet operations, ensuring seamless delivery of transport services across multiple sites.

Manage resource deployment and asset allocation to meet dynamic operational needs.

Act as the primary point of contact for urgent issues requiring escalation and swift resolution.

Drive the consistent application of SOPs, compliance processes and quality standards.
Team Supervision

Line manage Senior Fleet Specialists, Coordinators and Administrators across RSG.

Assign duties, oversee shift coverage, and provide operational briefings and debriefings.

Guide the development, training and performance monitoring of all team members.

Conduct regular site visits to oversee execution, provide coaching and ensure adherence to policy.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management

Act as delegated representative with leasing vendors (Avis, Shift, Sixt, Aljazirah) and service contractors.

Oversee vendor escalations, invoice verification and issue tracking across fleet operations.

Represent the Corporate Fleet team in cross-functional meetings and engage with internal stakeholders.

Support the Senior Manager in vendor negotiations, business case preparation and service reviews.
Governance & Process Improvement

Maintain oversight of service requests, fleet allocations, and ticket closure rates across platforms.

Ensure all vehicle and compliance data is maintained accurately, aligned to RSG systems and audit requirements.

Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and propose improvements to enhance operational agility.

Champion safety, training and reporting disciplines within the department.
Deputy Leadership Function

Deputize for the Senior Manager during periods of absence or as directed.

Support strategic planning, including asset forecasting, workforce planning and service expansion.

Provide high-level operational summaries, risk updates and team performance insights to management.
