Title: Assistant Manager - Design Coordinator
Location: Delhi
Role & Responsibilities:

Consultant contract administration
-
Certify consultant bills for payment during construction phase

Design Coordination:
-
Take handover from the HO based Design manager post DD/ tender stage
-
Coordinate with all vendors for issuance of a shop drawing list
-
Manage timely receipt of all design documentation, including shop drawings, samples, etc. from vendors/ contractors
-
Lead shop drawing and Issued for Construction documents reviews and approval process by all stakeholders and drive inter-discipline coordination
-
Lead all design coordination meetings/calls, prepare agenda & minutes, and follow-up on assigned tasks

Lead approval of all prototypes/ samples produced by the vendors by the relevant stakeholders

Manage all design documentation with document controller

Assist the planner in tracking the master schedule

Prepare design schedules with weekly/fortnightly deliverables and inter-discipline dependencies
-
Track design deliverables against schedule, flag delays, and implement recovery plans
-
De-bottleneck design hold-ups and help stakeholders to reach consensus

Change Management:
-
Flag changes to design/ previously received approvals during the shop drawing approval process
-
Flag changes to design/ previously received approvals requested by any stakeholder
-
Quality Management:
-
Support the PM/ Construction managers in explaining the design intent to the vendors/ contractors

Support the PM/ Construction manager in doing a formal Quality check at every milestone to ensure it follows the approved design intent
Required Education & Experience:
-
Diploma / B. Arch with experience at site coordinating construction trades
-
Minimum 4 years’ experience in design or project management with at least one end-to-end hotel or high end fit out project completion experience

Ability to monitor and review the as-built drawing process

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office
-
Good written and verbal communication skills

Good planning and organizational skills, able to seamlessly schedule and coordinate various design activities

Good understanding of all hotel / high end fit out projects and design disciplines, construction sequencing and coordination process
