Assistant Manager - Financial Analysis & Reporting

Provide timely and accurate financial information and reports, manage payroll, and support compliance, reporting, and audit functions.

Key Accountabilities

• Monthly, quarterly and annual closure; preparation of management reports and financial statements.
• Preparation and analysis of periodic cash forecasts, inventory and general provisioning.
• Process employee payroll and post to general ledger accounts.
• Analyze data and file periodic VAT returns; liaise with consultants.
• Control and maintain the company's general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Collaborate with the FM on monthly reporting, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets via Excel dashboards.
• Support ad hoc deliverables for internal and external reporting.
• Manage the yearly statutory audit process; prepare schedules and coordinate with auditors.
• Ensure compliance with legal, statutory requirements and internal controls.
• Collaborate with the AX team on AX related requirements.
• Manage and mentor accountants.

Job Dimensions

Number of Staff Supervised: 1 direct report.

Qualifications

• Degree in a recognized accounting qualification (ACCA / ACA / CMA).
• Minimum 10 years experience in a similar role.
