    Job Description:

    Qualification & Experience:

    • CA (Inter)/ACCA/ACMA
    - Completed article ship with reputable CA firm with having 2 - 3 years of experience in Audit & Accounts.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To assist management in risk assessment, internal control development by identifying deficiencies and recommending improvements thereto.
    • Conduct audit of constituent entities and directorates as per audit plan
    • Identify and evaluate control weaknesses and provide recommendations for improvement
    • Consolidate, prepare and present audit reports to line manager
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement audit recommendations
    • Conduct day-to-day operations of the department in line with best practices, procedures and in compliance with NUST policies.
    • Aid in management decision making by furnishing weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
    • Ensure accurate PPRA implementation wherever applicable.
    • Inter & intra departmental liaison for compliance as per policy and requirements.
    • Review of Tax compliance.
    • Any other task as assigned by management.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Proficient knowledge of Audit & Accounting Standards.
    • Proficient knowledge of financial management and accounting practices, relevant legislation and financial policies and procedures (e.g: IIA, IFRS etc).
    • Understanding of applicable Tax laws.
    • Knowledge and on-hand experience in applicable PPRA rules.
    • On-hand experience of ERP system such as Odoo (ERP).
    • Good communication, written, interpersonal and analytical skills.
    • General IT skills: Use of ERP systems (emphasis on financial modules/audit module), use of Microsoft office, email and Internet-based research.
    • Ability to lead & manage a team.
    • Commitment to Code of Ethics.


    Training/Certification:

    • Microsoft Office specially excel skills
