Designation: Assistant Manager - Production Planning & Control
Responsibilities:
Oversee all PPC activities across the team, ensuring alignment with customer delivery schedules and internal planning milestones.- Monitor execution of planned and unplanned activities, ensuring timely closure and escalation of delays.
- Conduct weekly MIS review meetings with senior management, presenting project status, delivery risks, and bottlenecks.
- Interact regularly with Engineering for configuration updates and release of BOMs, route cards, and firmware.
- Coordinate with SCM for material availability, shortages, and procurement status.
- Liaise with Finance for payment updates related to material procurement and vendor clearances in support with SCM.
- Keep BD updated on order status, delivery timelines, and post-delivery activities.
- Highlight critical issues and bottlenecks to senior leadership and drive resolution through cross-functional teams.
- Ensure documentation hygiene across ERP, including production plans, work orders, and delivery tracking.
- Review and validate team’s planning outputs including loading plans, Gantt charts, and SQDC metrics.
- Drive process improvements and standardization across PPC operations.
