Job description

Role & responsibilities

· Manage the procurement process for Casting, Forging, Metals, Plastics, Machining, IM, Metal Fabrications, Special processes like tooling, general engineering plastics etc.

· Knowledge of new product development for above processes.

· Develop & maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery with quality and competitive prices.

· Conduct technical evaluations of suppliers including their capabilities, capacities and quality systems (supplier selection).

· Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and mitigate risks associated with all commodities procurement.

· Collaborate with logistics & planning team to ensure effective inventory management including stock level, storage & transportation.

· Identify & implement cost reductions initiatives, including supplier rationalization, process improvements & contract negotiations.

· Manage budgets and control costs to ensure procurement operations are within approved limits.

· Provide regular reports and analytics on procurement performances , market trend, supplier performance

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in procurement handling multi commodities.
• Proficient in the Procurement software & systems especially well versed in handling SAP.

Education

· UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Diploma in Mechanical master’s degree in SCM will be preferred.

Key Skills

· Supplier Management/Material Planning/Automotive/Engineering parts.

· Raw Material Management/Inventory management.

Salary & Benefits: INR 6 LPA TO 8 LPA.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
