Job Description

? New Product Development & Others Projects (VAVE, Technology):
o Plan, execute & monitor complete process of the New Product development from market’s requirement to post launch stage.
o Ensure agreed Quality, Cost & Delivery Targets to achieve set Business Goals
? System Expertise:
o Apply extensive knowledge and research in HVAC systems for the overall system and component design and qualification process
o Design & selection of various components in development of Air Conditioning & Heat Pump units for various markets (North America, Europe & associated markets)
? Testing and Qualification:
o Preparation of test & validation plan, reliability plan and further co-ordinate testing in Blue Star/ Third Party Lab to meet standards & Statutory requirements (Collect, analyze, interpret, summarize, document data and information observed during testing)
? Product Leadership:
o Lead product design, development, testing, and evaluation of HVAC systems, sub-systems, controls, etc., maintaining highest standards of safety, quality, and design
o Investigate and troubleshoot product design related issues and options evaluations; documentation of the findings and recommend corrective actions to improve products
? Innovative Design:
o Developing innovative, high impact ideas in new products and covert the ideas into Patents / Design Registration
? Collaboration:
o Coordination and collaboration with different project stakeholders and cross functional teams (Internal & External Stakeholders)
o Foster strong communication and collaboration with Cross functional teams for Benchmarking, Mock- up & Proto unit Preparation, Various testing (Performance, Reliability, EMI-EMC, Sound & Vibration, Packaging etc.), Branding, Literature, Documentation etc.
