Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and integration of automotive audio systems, including infotainment head units, speakers, amplifiers, and connectivity features.
  • Ensure system performance meets customer expectations for sound quality, reliability, and user experience.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of audio system projects on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define system requirements, monitor progress, and address any project risks or challenges.
  • Provide guidance on audio system architecture, acoustic design, and signal processing technologies.
  • Drive innovation and implement the latest audio technologies (e.g., surround sound, noise cancellation, advanced connectivity).
  • Oversee testing, tuning, and validation of audio systems to ensure high-quality sound performance across various vehicle environments.
  • Identify issues during testing phases and lead the team in troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and mechanical engineering, to ensure seamless integration of audio systems.
  • Liaise with suppliers and external partners to incorporate best-in-class components and technologies.
  • Understand customer preferences and market trends to ensure audio systems meet the demands of end-users.
  • Respond to customer feedback and continuously improve product offerings based on insights.
  • Ensure audio systems comply with automotive industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
  • Support regulatory reviews and certifications as needed.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Manage team performance, set goals, and promote continuous learning within the team.
