Key Responsibilities:
Scope and General Purpose of Job:
To ensure implementation of all Marketing related Policies & Procedures and adhere to Company’s Graphic Standards.
To develop, implement, maximize, monitor and evaluate objectives, strategies and activities of the Marketing and Customer Services.
To ensure that an effective and efficient day to day acquisition program, including, administration and reporting system.
To promote marketing awareness and leadership to all employees.
Financial
- To Assist and contribute with the Marketing Manager in establishing the Annual Marketing plan with measurable objectives.
- To support staff needs in other Divisions based on the hotel priorities and anticipated business levels.
- To maintain complete and supported records of all Marketing agreements and communication commitments for the hotel.
- Operational
- To maintain and moniter all social media applications and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
- To ensure that an efficient and accurate posting system on facebook and twitter applivations.
- To coordinate all marketing activities and to communicate these activities throughout the hotel as directed by the Marketing Manager.
- To develop, monitor and evaluate comments and customer feedback on all social media applications.
- To coordinate with the Marketing Manager to measure, interpret , prioritize and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities and to re-evaluate programs on ongoing bases so as to achieve the objectives as outlined in the Annual Marketing Plan.
- To coordinate the Advertising and Promotion Programs of the Savoy Hotels, ensuring effectiveness and compliance with Policies & Procedures and Graphic standards of Savoy Group.
- To coordinate Communication, public relation and Marketing activities to support the objectives as outlined in the Annual Marketing Plan.
- To obtain and maintain an awareness of community, business, political and social factors which may affect the hotel’s financial objectives.
- To ensure that utilization of various technology and software is maximized and that clean data are maintained at all times.
- To be demanding and critical when it comes to departmental standards.
- To assist the Graphic artist with design and lay out coordination and production of collateral, ads and graphics.
- Administration
- To ensure that an efficient and accurate filing system, both manual as well as electronically is maintained at all times.
- To attend the weekly Marketing Meeting with the team.
- To ensure that all meetings are well planned, efficient and results oriented.
- To keep and to safeguard all contracts and financial documents.
- To ensure that an excellent business promotion abilities and, be able to change on technical aspects for a wide range of viewers.
- To assist in regular contact with all major industry magazines to supply any required promotional material.
- General
- To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in the department colleagues and all other departments.
- To attend and contribute to all staff meetings Departmental and Hotel trainings scheduled and other related activities.
- To fully support the Departmental Training Function in the Department assigned.
- To undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the Company.
- To project at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self control.
- To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
- Other Duties
- To maintain strong, professional relationships with the relevant representatives from competitor hotels and other organisations, including tour operators and local travel agents.
- To respond to changes in the Marketing function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
- To read the hotel's Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
- To attend training sessions and meetings as and when required.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
