Al Taie Primary Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated and reliable Assistant Nurse with a valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi license to support our medical and nursing team. The Assistant Nurse will assist in providing safe, high-quality patient care and ensure smooth daily clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Nurses and Doctors in providing patient care.
- Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Take and record vital signs accurately (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.).
- Assist in basic nursing procedures under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper sterilization of treatment rooms and equipment.
- Support patients with mobility, personal hygiene, and comfort when required.
- Assist in administering medications as directed by the supervising nurse or doctor (within scope of practice).
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and DOH standards at all times.
- Refill and manage medical supplies and report shortages.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Nursing / Assistant Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid DOH (Department of Health) Abu Dhabi License – Mandatory
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Knowledge of basic nursing care, infection control, and patient safety.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
