Assistant Nurse (DOH)

Al Taie Primary Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated and reliable Assistant Nurse with a valid Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi license to support our medical and nursing team. The Assistant Nurse will assist in providing safe, high-quality patient care and ensure smooth daily clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Nurses and Doctors in providing patient care.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Take and record vital signs accurately (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.).
• Assist in basic nursing procedures under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper sterilization of treatment rooms and equipment.
• Support patients with mobility, personal hygiene, and comfort when required.
• Assist in administering medications as directed by the supervising nurse or doctor (within scope of practice).
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Follow infection control, safety, and DOH standards at all times.
• Refill and manage medical supplies and report shortages.
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Nursing / Assistant Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid DOH (Department of Health) Abu Dhabi License – Mandatory
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Knowledge of basic nursing care, infection control, and patient safety.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Professional, caring, and responsible attitude.
