We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Operations Manager to join our Fleet and Compliance team in our HQ, located in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Free Zone.


Scope


This role is accountable for the day-to-day management and regulatory compliance of the groupwide fleet, which includes soft fleet multipurpose vehicles, company-owned and leased passenger buses, as well as third-party vehicles. Also, responsible for overseeing groupwide branding initiatives to uphold high fleet standards.


Responsibilities


Financial

  • Maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, usage, and costs and flag anything unusual.
  • Respond to fleet-related incidents and support investigations and resolutions within a timely manner.


Customer

  • Work closely with our Business Units and operations teams to deliver the highest possible level of service to our organization.
  • Manage the TG owned fleet to ensure that maintenance schedules are adhered and implementing policies and procedures for the bus and soft fleet department, enforcing, and upholding standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure fleet needs are met effectively.


Process

  • Assist in managing the company’s fleet operations, including vehicle registrations, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Monitor fleet performance metrics and generate reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including licensing, inspections, and insurance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage the legal compliance for the TG owned and leased vehicles ensuring that regulations are upheld under the relevant legislations.
  • Oversee driver performance across the fleet by generating and analyzing GPS-based reports for the entire group.


Innovation

  • Manage the GPS system ensuring that operations have the appropriate reporting to manage vehicle and driver performance.
  • Generate reports via Power BI reporting to demonstrate areas of improvement.


Selection Criteria


  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in fleet management or operations support.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle compliance and fleet software systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
