Job Purpose
The Asst. Operations Manager – HR ensures smooth and timely execution of HR operations, including payroll support, compliance, onboarding, documentation, and employee services, while assisting the HR Manager in implementing policies, SOPs, and HR process governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily HR operational tasks including documentation, database management, and employee record-keeping.
- Ensure accurate statutory compliance for PF, ESIC, professional tax, gratuity, and related labor regulations.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, SOPs, and compliance frameworks across departments.
- Support internal and external audits and maintain compliance readiness at all times.
- Manage the onboarding process including joining kits, induction scheduling, and document collection.
- Maintain updated employee files, HR databases, and track probation and confirmation cycles.
- Collate monthly attendance, leave, and overtime data for payroll processing.
- Ensure timely processing of reimbursements, salary inputs, and address salary-related queries.
- Assist in organizing employee welfare and engagement activities.
- Address routine employee concerns and escalate unresolved issues to the HR Manager.
- Ensure execution and communication of HR SOPs and coordinate with Admin for ID cards, CTC documents, and logistics.
- Coordinate with the Admin team for employee seating, transport needs, and attendance device issues.
- Handle any additional HR or administrative tasks assigned by the HR Manager, MD, or authorized personnel.
