As a workers’ compensation
assistant product manager, you’ll lead a team of two analysts, be accountable for the countrywide profit & loss, and manage a portfolio of investments in a segment targeted for rapid growth. In this role, you’ll balance product development, rate revision, regulatory and pricing responsibilities as you develop your strategic roadmap to grow the business. You’ll collaborate with the Underwriting, Sales, Claims and Loss Prevention Departments to execute our rate strategy and identify opportunities to advance our workers’ compensation product. You’ll own business results and execute strategies that align with the company’s overall business goals.
Must-have qualification-
Bachelor's degree or higher with an emphasis in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Quantitative Research or Actuarial Science

Minimum of 4 years property casualty insurance experience or related experience

Selection for this job family requires participation in Progressive's PM Assessment Process, consistent with guidelines set out by the Recruiting organization. Tenure at the Assistant Product Manager level generally will be 12-36 months. If the Assistant Product Manager has not demonstrated the capability for promotion to the next career level in this time, other career paths will be sought
Preferred skills-
Experience in workers’ compensation or in other commercial lines.

Compensation-
Base salary: $100,100- $145,000/year

Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
Location-
This is a remote role with at least quarterly travel to Carmel, Indiana.
