Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor at Department of Software Engineering, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, SZAB Campus, located in Khairpur. The Assistant Professor will deliver high-quality lectures, mentor students, and guide research projects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Responsibilities include developing and updating course curricula, conducting impactful research within their area of expertise, publishing scholarly works, and participating in academic committees and university activities. The role also involves engaging with the academic community to advance knowledge within Software engineering.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in a Software engineering or a relevant field.
• Registration Number from Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)
• Strong teaching and presentation skills, with experience in delivering lectures and mentoring students.
• Proficiency in conducting and publishing high-quality academic research.
• Expertise in curriculum development and academic program design.
• Knowledge of modern teaching methodologies and commitment to continuous professional development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with academic committee involvement and university operations is an asset.
• Ability to foster collaborative relationships with colleagues and students in diverse settings.
